Dan is a digital journalist with extensive experience online and in print.

Most recently, Dan was the local editor of two Patch sites, one, Wayne Patch, launched in December 2010. It was profitable within a year of its launch, the first of more than 900 to hit that milestone. He covered Wayne until January 2014. He also took over running Tri-Boro Patch, a site that reported on news from Kinnelon, Butler, and Bloomingdale.

He used various social networks, including Twitter and Facebook, and widgets from Storify and CO Everywhere to enhance his stories.

Dan was responsible for launching, content planning, and hiring staff for Ultimate Athlete Magazine, a electronic magazine covering sports in North, Central, and South Jersey. He also launched Leonia Life and Edgewater View, weekly newspapers covering North Jersey communities.

Dan also has experience using QuarkExpress, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. He has experience taking and editing photographs for both print and online mediums, and shooting and editing videos.
